Mohammedally Shushtari is an actor & writer of Yemeni/Iranian descent. Mohammedally wrote, produced and starred in the film “Chocolate” a coming of age drama, which has garnered over 110,000 + views online citing rave reviews particularly from celebrated British Directors Clio Barnard and Marc Munden.
Mohammedally’s next writing venture “YO!” had critical success on the festival circuit being officially selected to Oscar and Bafta Qualifying festivals including Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival, BUFF and BronzeLens Film Festival whilst also screening at Montana International Film Festival. Mohammedally wrote the highly successful tiktok series “21” funded by Public Health England and in partnership with UKFullyFocused, the tiktok series has generated 1,000,000 + views; it was done inpartnership with superstar tiktoker "Ehiz". It premiered at the London Short Film Festival after its official selection.
Mohammedally’s latest writing work comes in partnership with UKFullyFocused, “Do It For Her” a film that explores Gambling addiction within the Muslim community, which currently has 34,000+ views online and screened at London Short Film Festival.
