Teanne Andrews is the Co-founder and Director of Operations at We Are Parable.

We Are Parable is an multi award-winning film exhibition and distribution company who provide audiences with opportunities to experience Black Cinema and TV in culturally relevant, memorable and unique ways.

We are dedicated to providing a platform to Black films and their creators through our work in exhibition, distribution and the production of mentorship opportunities.

We believe the experience of the audience is paramount.

With over 15 years of experience in engaging national and local audiences across film and visual arts, Teanne has worked with the likes of Film4, British Film Institute, Film London, Netflix, Disney, Channel 4, Studiocanal and Warner Bros as well as grassroot organisations to support the release of new titles, engaging audiences across the UK.

Through producing innovative and culturally relevant events that centre and celebrate Black cinema, Teanne is an expert in weaving a sense of community through every project, creating memories that build a deeper emotional connection to audiences.

Teanne is a BAFTA voting member and a co-founder of BAFTA qualifying S.O.U.L FEST, now in its fourth year.

Teanne has co-curated two international projects in Jamaica (The Shot List) and Kenya (Love Letters to Cinema).
